Anti-discrimination Law in Hong Kong: Its Relevance in Human Resources Management for NGOs


Introduction

四條香港反歧視法例與人力資源從業員的工作息息相關,許多與人事管理有關的議題都需要留意避免違反相關條例,例如招聘及甄選過程、聘用條款、工作安排、病假缺勤管理、協助有殘疾員工、評估工作表現、終止聘用、工作間的性騷擾等等。平等機會委員會故舉辦是次講座,內容如下:

1.複習現行四條反歧視條例的主要概念
(a)性別歧視條例
(b)殘疾歧視條例
(c)家庭崗位歧視條例
(d)種族歧視條例

2.反歧視法例的主要概念
(a)受法例保障的因素
(b)違法行為:歧視、騷擾、中傷、使人受害的歧視
(c)主要例外情況
(d)適用範疇
(e)法律責任:個人及僱主

3.認識社福機構在人事管理層面可能涉及反歧視法例的議題
